Meet Owen
Hello, my name is Owen Fahey! I grew up in southern Wisconsin and recently moved here in October 2024 for college. I grew up in a family dog business, where caring for dogs wasn’t just a job — it was a way of life!
Now, as I finish school for Musical Theatre and begin auditioning here in New York City, I’m excited to continue building a life that blends my two passions: creativity and canine care.
I see dog walking as more than just a quick outing — it’s enrichment, exercise, structure, and trust-building.
My Background
My father has been a professional dog trainer for over 30 years, working with many world class trainers, including Cesar Milan!
From an early age I was immersed in understanding canine behavior, training techniques, and the importance of consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. Growing up and working at my parents pet care facilities gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels.
My background in performance also means I bring enthusiasm, attentiveness, and heart to everything I do. I’m proud to merge professional dog care with my creative path, building a sustainable career in NYC while giving dogs the safe, joyful care they deserve.
